No Tears
Don’t think, don’t speak, don’t shed a tear
Don’t show yourself, you must adhere
To staying strong and standing tall
You never break or never fall
They say your weakness is a gift
The drops that fall give them a lift
The truth is that they cannot care
Or give their all, no time to spare
And if they could, would I change
It’s easier to be estranged
To tell me I’ll find faith in hope
Is throwing me into the rope
And pulling tightly in a knot
My neck it jerks, and time forgot
So just don’t speak and turn your head
And let me writhe in shades of red
Your need to help does not help me
I’ll slide away
